Magnetic therapy is most often used for therapeutic purposes such as helping to relieve pain, reduce inflammation and swelling, recovery from joint, muscle or bone injuries, and to promote pain relief for conditions such as arthritis and hip dysplasia.
Precautions
Magnetic therapy should never be used under the following conditions:
- Magnets should not be used on the abdomen during pregnancy.
- Magnets should not be used if there is any bleeding externally or internally (magnets promote blood flow).
- Magnets should only be used externally.
